This is the first book that introduces Dewey as a little raindrop inside a cloud with lots of other little droplet friends.
One of these is Mizu a female of Japanese origin. After falling from the sky they follow the water cycle through its course. The journey introduces landforms, plants and animals as parts of Dewey's world.

The illustrations are largely raindrop designs superimposed on semi-realistic and surreal backgrounds, hopefully giving rise to deeper imaginations of the raindrop's life.
